Dear ones that we love, We have surely enjoyed General Conference and feel so blessed as we recognize many miracles in our lives. Having the opportunity to be serving a full time mission twice and all that we learn each time. We've come to realize that the good things of this world can take all our time and attention so that the things of Eternity are pushed aside.Our roll as missionaries in our daily covenant path is to strengthen and encourage our families and neighbors in all our everyday interactions, helping them to feel the Saviors love in their lives. What a joy to  have each other and together strive to be better disciples of Jesus Christ. 

We have so many opportunities to share the gospel and strengthen the members here in Argentina. Don took one of our new members to priesthood conference, and it has been such a joy watching him progress in the gospel. We have about a month to get our Christmas Open chapel calendar filled for nov. and dec., so lots of contacting of our coordinators, members and missionaries in our 28 missions. We were so excited to get the news that a couple will be here to replace us. The Dalbys, Ronald and Helen, an  attorney from South Jordan. The missionary dept (Marc Lusvardi) called to let us say hello to them. So We told them they are coming to the best mission in the world. We love this beautiful city and wonderful people and culture: we will miss so many things when we leave. We have so many wonderful couples that served with us in the area office. They will be special friends forever.

This weekend on walks we happened upon a casket being delivered to the very elite Ricoletta cemetary. We watched on during the priests funeral rites and putting the casket of 97 year old Ophilia( I was standing by her grandsons wife who told me who she was) in the big family mausoleum. So interesting that their caskets aren't big bulky square like ours but shaped more closely to the body so they are easily carried and fit in small spaces. The families in Ricoletta are very wealthy because they pay each month to have space there. Mostly rich and famous. Evita Peron is buried there, and political leaders. Its so amazing.

On a Sunday walk before conference we came across a beautiful Cathedral and went in and listened to the beautiful singing and the Priest give a message. So many devoted catholics here, and such good people. But they need the authority of the Priesthood and covenants for exaltation that only the restored Gospel can provide.

Iam so excited! for  over a year I have been trying to get tickets to a soccer game to see Messi play. ( I cant face my grandsons wondering why I didn't get to a professional soccer game in Argentina and see Messi play)Pretty much impossible. As soon as they come online the tickets  are all gone. Last week four of our Argentine friends got on the computers at the exact right time  for the last world cup qualifier with Messi playing against Peru. Low and behold Junior Ruiz computer went ding and got four tickets. Everyone said it was a miracle. All the fellows said the atmosphere is pretty rough and we might get high from smelling all the pot and we wont be able to sit down,as they all stand and Im blessed that I wont understand any of the bad language. But Iam seriously so excited to get inside the Boca stadium and experience this part of their crazy soccer culture. Two of the four fellows that worked so hard to get our tickets are taking us( they think they have to protect us) both Bishops that we have done Capilla abiertas ( open chapels) for. Im going to enjoy giving out passalong cards and taking in the culture. They are both very competitive and will probably be the problem and Junior is from Peru: not good.

We are so excited to come home and have Lisel and Ben getting sealed in Manti on Nov. 22. What a great thanksgiving! and even better they are going to live in our basement. If that doesn't make our house more fun.Cayden will be up in Utah going to school and working too. So all us missionaries will be reunited. Our Buenos Aires Temple is closed for two weeks, so we will wait to get our new converts there for their ancestor baptisms.
