We have been in a whirl wind for a couple weeks. But we are healthy and building lots of faith and trust in Heavenly Father. Because we sure cant do all this without Him.

We flew to mission Comodoro Rivadavia last week trained all the zone leaders in the morning and met with stake presidents and ward and stake mission leaders that same night at 8. The new Figuroa couple were with us so they could learn how to do the trainings in their mission. The next morning we took a 5 hour bus to Trelew to do a training that night, then flew to Ushuia the next morning, which is the southern most city in Patagonia, they call it El fin del mundo. or end of the world. We had a few hours before our training so we took a boat out to see the lighthouse and sealion colonies. It was beautiful. such a contrast to big city living in Buenos Aires. We made some great friends on the 2 hour boat ride and told them all about the mormons. While there we received a phone call from the area Presidency seeing if we could take on a new assignment filling in at the youth handcart treks and asked us to get home as soon as possible as they needed us the next day. We arrived back in Buenos Aires in time to meet with President Teixeira in his office at 3;00. And were asked to fill in at the treks until they can find a couple to replace the Flinders from Kaysville who have been heading them up for 7 years, spending half year here and half at home. They actually built the handcarts and developed the program here in Spanish. For two years they have been promised someone to train but no couples have been found and they now have another call to work in the Temple in Veracruz Mexico, and this was the last chance to train someone, so it was us.We left early the next morning to drive the 6 hours to the provincia of Cordoba to the Kilgruman farm. When we arrived we jumped right in helping haul portapotties, lead the trekkers and prepare sound systems and camp sites. One of the farm folk had killed two armadillos and were cleaning them to 

eat. we just had hambergers,thank goodness. We wind the handcart trekkers around the wheat and corn and soy fields and along a long corridor of trees to a big lagoon where the girls pull the carts through a very deep in mud lagoon, It was quite a womens pull, we were muddy and wet and tired that night. We stayed for four days and learned how to clean and haul and grease the handcarts, cover and tie them up to weather storms in between treks. then we drove back to Buenos Aires arriving at 11:00 at night. We got to the office the next morning to start getting ready for our big Christmas campaign. The Area has ordered Banners for each of our Capilla Abierta Kits to advertise the world wide Church Christmas campaign on our church website where the advent calendar will have one attribute of Jesus each day of december with scriptures, song and stories to focus on developing that quality in ourselves. We have the responsibility to make sure in each of our 28 missions in the South America South area that an open chapel is being planned in a more populated area to attract many for the last week of november and first two weeks of december to invite as many people as possible to take advantage of this special season and come closer to the Savior. the goal is to generate as many references for our missionaries as possible at these events. Many of our missions now have two kits for open houses so we need to have events to use each kit and get all our coordinators that we have been training for the last few months to really organize and train the members for a great publicized event to share about the Mormons. We still have five missions that arent even having Capilla Abiertas,that weve got to get to and try to help them get started. We go back down to the farm to do another trek in November all by ourselves without the Flinders. Wow will we need the Holy Ghost to bring all things to our remembrence. and then again in 

december. Please pray for a couple to accept a call to come to Argentina and run the Handcart treks and they sure need to speak spanish,hopefully better than I. We sure know this is the Lords church, because if it wasnt, we could sure fowl it up good.. The youth of Argentina are wonderful just like our youth iin the church in America. are great. I walked alot with a new convert of five months named Geronimo 15 years old. The only member of the church in his family. Friends at school started inviting him to youth activities just like Wanda Worthen did me. Then he let the missionarys come teach him. It took awhile, because he is a very bright boy with lots of questions. But now his life will be very different and who knows he might have 27 grandchildren some day all living the gospel. How blessed I am and so is he to have found the restored Gospel. Lets never take it for granted and open our mouths were ever we are and share what we have. We
