Nan andthe Frishone

Dear Loved ones, Time is flying and every day is full. We are visiting less active part member families and we have a non member family that we are meeting with. So many lovely people that need the blessings of the restored Gospel in their lives. This weekend we have four  open chapels on the same day.One of our other Buenos Aires couples went to conference in Salt Lake so we are covering for them. So we have been busy getting everyone trained and covering all the bases. We are adding to our plate being  Pathway missionaries for a group of church employees here in the area offices. Don has worked many hours getting all the participants registered and us trained with the videos and tutorials. They needed a couple that speaks english and none of the other missionaries volunteered to help them. Now that we have most of the organizing done, facilitating the hour and a half gathering each week will be fun. I am sure we will learn alot. We have our last trek next week and then we are done for the trek season. A new couple has been found and the husband is flying down from Washington DC to go with us this last time so we can show them everything and then they come next October to stay for 6 months and  do the next season of treks and then go home and come back the next year for 6 months. All of Buenos Aires  is on a transportation strike tomorrow so the offices are closed, and Im going spend some more time at La Rural right by our apartment. They are having a horse and dog show and it is so fun seeing all the Championship dogs competing and all the different horse events. They had a group of downs children playing a game on horses kind of like polo only with a big red ball and the horses bodies pushed the ball into the goal while the kids stayed on the horses. They were all so delighted, it was wonderful to watch. Last week we went on a long walk to the famous National art museum and say Picasos, Van Gogh, Rembrants, and Monets and paintings dated back to the 1500s. It was amazing. This city has so much to see. Saturday while walking past the Polo fields I stopped to watch a Polo tournament of 11 year olds. They were getting pretty good. There is a National Orchid exposition this saturday by our house, we hope to run through that before we get to Open chapels in the later afternoon. I hope everyone is taking advantage of the church Easter initiative on the church website. 8* beautiful new short videos about 8 different principals that the Prince of Peace has taught us. Each one could be used for a great family discussion. Each mission has beautiful new passalong cards with the Savior on them directing our friends to the church website and a place to write a note or time and place if we are using them to invite to an activity or church. This Easter season is a great time to share the gospel. We have over 190 open chapels scheduled in our 28 missions in South America South Area, With specially made Easter Banners made to match the passalong cards from Salt Lake, that we are using at each event.

We are surely hoping that all our grands are spending some time on the Sabbath day searching out family names to take to the Temple. Anslie and Abbie are great teachers and next month Brea will be going to the Temple on her birthday. A pretty good indicator of our continuing conversion is always having a current Temple Recommend. Heavenly Father has given us so many helps and tools to navigate those loud and convincing world voices.

Lisel has taught us never to forget the Savior asking Peter "Do you love me?" "Feed my sheep."  We love and miss each one of you. Especially grateful to have a family choosing the better part, and not LEANING unto your own understanding, but centered on our Savior.  Nan and Pop
