Hi family, This mission is just getting more exciting. We now have a couple of families that we are working with. One non member family that we have been visiting and sharing the Gospel with and getting to know better. We went to Santiago Chile last week for two trainings and brought them Choclates from Chile and this past weekend to Colonia Uruaguay an Brought them a cute cookie jar made in Colonia. They are coming to our house for dinner on Sunday since we were feeding the missionaries anyway. Our other family is less active with a nonmember dad, at least we think he isnt a member. We shared a family home evening with them this week and brought 24 undecorated cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles for them to decorate and share with all the kids in the apartment. They loved it and especially loved singing Iam a child of God and we watched a great short video about faith and how this amazing family in the Pilipines had enough faith to go buy the family food and potable water to drink and not knowing how that they would have enough money to pay for transport to church the next day, and faith preceded the miracle, a roll of money just miraclously appeared in her pocket, and she shares how she has prayed and read her scriptures more because she knows for asureity that Heavenly Father is there and knows her. The family told us how the mom and her daughter (38) have to work on Sundays so this sunday we are going to go pick up the 13 year old boy(jeferson) and his two cousins Britany (3) and Katia (6) and take them to church, hopefully the dad will come too. We are helping Gustavo (30) a new member get to the temple to do baptisms, also Alejandro 15 who is kinda less active  son of a single mom that we did family home evening for two weeks ago. We are learning that if new members get to the temple to do baptisms within three months of being baptized they usually stay active in the church. Since this whole area has way more less active members than active members, thats one of the new goals. When they arent active in the church and growing in conversion the blessings of obedience dont come. We are helping them find family names to take to the temple and it is so fun for them. The Temple has a way of blessing our lives in ways I dont think any of us understand fully. Just get ourselves there as often as possible to more fully know the ways of the Lord......

We went to our first Polo game and it was amazing. Beautiful horses running ful speed and stopping on a dime so their riders could hit this little ball into a goal. 4 members on each team and each rider has 8 different horses during the game. they trade them out so they can preform at top speed. The riders get broken arms, legs and heads and the horses and riders get hit with the very hard ball. Luckily we only saw riders go off and walk away fine. We were sitting by a past polo player and he showed us where he had broken his leg. any way it was very fun and free. Its a very rich man sport but they only charge for the big tournament games. The horses are worth millions because they are specially trained and bred. I had my hopes of attending a professional soccer game here at the River staduim on March 23 between Argentina and Chile and I think Messi was playing. The boy who showed me on line how to get tickets told me to go in after 12:00 on the 8th and when I did I was number 26,067 in line, so that didnt work. Its crazy how popular soccer is here. So Ill have to try again. Most of the games are on Sunday and some of the real rival teams are a little dangerous to go to, kinda like Utah and BYU. hee! hee!

We have really been busy getting all of our open house events sceduled for the Easter season in 28 missions. We have 137 events calendered  and only one mission that hasnt reported. We have three on the same night here in Buenos Aires and we arent sure how to cover all three but it will work out somehow. I surely have learned its the Lords work not mine. Ive sure gotten a clientele of hair cuts and colors that I sure hadnt planned on. But it makes me happy to help and be of service. You never know what skill you might develope that can bless the lives of others. 

We walked so far yesterday after work to the Cultural arts center and to the American embassy night, that My shoes that are always comfortable gave me two blisters. The only bandaids I could find are superman action figures on the tops of my feet under my buckles. Oh well they dont hurt. The Gospel is true and this mission is giving us the best oppurtunity to stregthen our marriage. We are trying to learn to validate each other instead of fixing each other and how have two such different people made it work all these years. Thats why we have such great kids...... the balance.... its a miracle.......... Thank goodness for the atonement and its enabling power.....
