Dear family and loved ones, Wow for a couple old birds, we are learning lots. Lots of new Spanish words each day and computer skills and marriage skills and more trust in the Lord and patience and more love. We are working hard getting ready for a New mission president seminar this Tuesday, that we have a chance to meet our 14 new mission presidents and see if we can help them implement the open chapel program in their mission. We have already talked to all of them on the phone and emailed back and forth lots. Some are taking right off and others haven't the vision yet. Bless their hearts they have so much caring for all these missionaries and all that goes into running a mission in these trying times .We are doing trainings in the ward all most every Sunday for open chapels in the city of Buenos Aires. This coming Sunday the bishop wants us to speak in Sacrament meeting too plus take the third hour for our presentation. Its amazing what the Lord can do with us. We have kits in each mission with 8 big laminas or banners depicting different parts of the gospel and a beautiful roll out banner of the Christus and we play the words of Christ which really brings the spirit. Our last weekend event we had 163 attend and generated 41 references for the missionaries and 60 non members attended. They all aren't quite that well attended, but no matter how many come we always have baptisms and reactivate less actives and strengthen the members who put on the open chapel. Its very rewarding for us to be a small part of the Lords work. We are all involved in the Salvation of souls. Especially mommys and Dads. This morning coming to the office on the subway I was able to share a book of Mormon with a single mom who works at the in the government. She said she will read it and I know if she prays about what she reads she can have a witness from the spirit that the book is the word of God. How blessed we are to have that Testimony and to have those teachings to read every day. We practically trip over all the people sleeping in the streets here. Addictions are alive and well in Argentina. So many alcoholics.  The members are so faithful and diligent in the church and love and help one another. We spent the day last Saturday in the streets with the missionaries visiting less actives and inviting to the open chapel. These young missionaries are the cream of the crop and they are learning so much too. If we stay willing, the Lord will make so much more out of our lives than we ever could. Navigating Buenos Aires in our church car is quite a feat. Quite often I drive while Pop navigates with the GPS. He is much better at directions than I am. So he just tells me where to go, and I dodge all the millions of cars and motorcycles and pedestrians and we pray a lot. Got to Go as another couple came for us to take the Argentine couple out for her birthday dinner. Whew more beef and bread Their specialty. I still find  lots of vegetables and fruit. Love to you all
